Founded in 1930, Warners Bay Cricket Club stands as one of the oldest and largest cricket organisations in the Lake Macquarie/Newcastle region. With a rich history and a vibrant community spirit, the club is dedicated to nurturing the love of cricket among people of all ages and abilities.
Our mission is to create a family-friendly environment that fosters sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development through the game of cricket. We take pride in being a cornerstone of our community, offering opportunities for children, men, and women to participate in the sport, regardless of their skill level.
Warners Bay Cricket Club is committed to inclusivity and actively collaborates with All Abilities Sports Coaching to ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to the joy and camaraderie of cricket. Our junior teams, spanning from under 9s to under 15-18s, are part of the Newcastle Junior Cricket Association, where young players hone their skills and build lasting friendships in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
Beyond the cricket field, the club organizes a variety of social events that strengthen the bonds among members and their families. From barefoot bowls and BBQs to lively trivia nights, there’s always something happening at Warners Bay Cricket Club. These events not only provide entertainment but also help foster a sense of community and belonging among our members.
